Il motore è stato derivato dal motore V8 della vettura da corsa 450S. Solo 34 esemplari del 5000GT sono stati costruiti in tutto il mondo. Di questi, 21 avevano una carrozzeria di Allemano, Torino. Una di queste auto è la nostra. La storia è ben documentata e dimostrabile tramite foto. Dopo la sua prima registrazione a Roma, l'auto è stata venduta in Venezuela.
